This is the first place to start the investigation when you see car leaking water on passenger side. If the heater core is leaking you will find coolant on the floorboards of your vehicle, most likely on the passenger side. I noticed that the there was a little bit of water sitting on the bolt that holds the corner plastic piece, just under the glove compartment. I do want to ask though, was your leak dripping from under the engine block itself or further up toward the front of the car where the radiator/large fans are? My leak is dripping off the AC compressor which is directly under the turbo, on the passenger side of the engine block. Car is in great condition and runs well. A good sized puddle formed and eventually stopped. The cooling system, or the windscreen washer system, or the exhaust. That leak was the egr to oil cooler hose. This is done to ensure that the oil has not been compromised by the overheating condition. A leak in the water-cooling system can be hard to trace - especially if it is internal, say in the cylinder-head gasket between cylinders. I notice it more toward the passenger side front; but sometimes I smell it on the driver's side, too.
